Beginners

The club is a family focused club of over 50 registered students.  We have students of ages 6+ to 50+ and grades beginner to 5th Dan black belt.

Please come along and visit.  You are most welcome to sit and watch before attempting your first class.  Watching is free.  If you would like to start training then your first class is also free.

If you are under 16 then you must be accompanied by a parent or guardian or +16 years older sibling, upon your first visit.  They can stay and watch but if they want then they can join in too.

If you are over 16 then don't worry about feeling awkward or out of place.  We always ensure an adult male/female assistant instructor trains alongside you for the first few classes.  Remember every student was once a beginner.

After three classes you will be asked to join the club.  You will be given a membership/insurance form.  It is then up to you to make the decision.  However, you cannot continue training beyond three classes due to insurance constraints.

The club has several black belt students who assist in all aspects of the training.
