Chief Instructor Alexander (Ally) Whytock is a 4th Dan black belt and has trained in Shotokan since 1983. He has trained under and been graded by many instructors in particular Kawasoe Sensei. Ally has gained success in competition at the national level. Ally was born and brought up in Coupar Angus.

Assistant Instructor and Child Protection Officer, Karen Whytock is a 1st Dan black belt and has trained in Shotokan since 2007. Karen was born and brought up in Blairgowrie.

Assistant Instructor Fiona Lipp is a 1st Dan black belt. She has trained in Shotokan since 2007. Fiona was born and brought up in Blairgowrie.

The club has other black belts who assist during class times and are always approachable for advice and tips.

The club has Public Indemnity Insurance, Enhanced Disclosure Scotland & First Aid Certificates. These certificates are available for viewing.
